Radweb^®

Radweb^® is Evolved’s proprietary web-based enterprise Radiology Information System RIS. It is the backbone of Evolved’s digital image workflow solution and is capable of managing the image and data flow across all of your traditional radiology processes. These processes include: patient registration, order entry, image viewing, dictation, transcription, and reporting. Additionally, Radweb^® can integrate with virtually any hospital information system (HIS) for order and report data exchange, and with our View² PACS solution for image and data exchange and archiving.

Seamless Module-based Integration
Radweb^® is made up of a variety of integrated modules in order to provide a seamless transition, or workflow, of patient images and information between all systems and users. These modules include:

• Reception – This module allows users to add a new patient or order, review an existing order, edit an order, cancel an order and track patient arrival. Orders are tracked by the patient’s MRN (Medical Record Number) or Name.

• Technologist – This module allows the user to work directly from the technologist worklist displaying up-to-date exam status information. The technologist can alter the status of exams until the exam has been completed and is ready for dictation.

• Radiologist – This module runs a locally on the radiologists machine and allows them to remotely access the dictation worklist. The radiologist is able to simultaneously view the images with their preferred hanging protocol already configured and record the dictation. Once the transcription is complete on the study the radiologist receives a report for their signing in their signing queue.

• Transcription - This module also runs locally on the transcriptionists machine and allows them to remotely access the transcription worklist remotely. Based on priority or dictation time the transcriptionist can access the study to complete the report, reports can be queued without a completed transcription to be accessed at a later time. A transcriptionist can create “Normals”, or canned reports for routine exam findings.

• Administrator – This module provides access to six different report categories including: filming reports, exam cycle reports, dictation reports, transcription reports, activity reports, and miscellaneous. Due to the integration of data from all the systems accessed through Radweb^® the reporting capability far surpasses standard expectations.

Radweb^® enables tracking of patients throughout the examination process and eliminates repetitive and time-consuming manual entries as well as the opportunity for human error. Health care facilities operate more efficiently and cost effectively, providing more timely results of patient procedures and enhanced patient care.

The objective of Radweb^® is to expedite the processing of patient exams, by enabling referring physicians, radiologists, and transcriptionist, with tools that can be accessed anytime and anywhere, thus significantly reducing associated time and expenses.
